
Dr. Lindsay West was born in Dayton, Ohio but moved to Texas with her family at age four and grew up in North Dallas.
Dr. West knew from a young age that her passion involved working with animals and spent her summers in high school and college working at various small animal, equine, and specialty hospitals in Dallas, as well as the Fort Worth Zoo. Dr. West completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia University and attended Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine for veterinary school. Following graduation in May 2011, she completed a small animal rotating medical and surgical internship at Oregon State University.
Dr. West moved back to Dallas in 2012 worked in McKinney for almost 12 years before joining Casa Linda Animal Clinic. Her interests in veterinary medicine include preventive medicine, critical care, diagnostic imaging, hemolymphatic diseases, and client education.
In her free time, she enjoys watching sports (Go Rangers!), reading, running marathons, biking, and spending time with her husband, Travis, son Isaac, and three Labradors, Rooster, Nala and Goose.
